What must I remember about Photosynthesis?

• Equation: 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + light energy → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂
• Location: chloroplasts (contains chlorophyll — absorbs red and blue light)
• Two stages: light-dependent (in thylakoid); light-independent / Calvin cycle (in stroma)
• Glucose used for respiration, growth, cellulose, starch, fats
