• Speed = distance ÷ time; Velocity = displacement ÷ time (vector)
• Acceleration a = (v − u) / t; unit: m/s²
• Newton's 2nd Law: F = ma (Resultant force = mass × acceleration)
• Newton's 3rd Law: every action has an equal and opposite reaction
• Momentum p = mv; conservation: total momentum before = total after (closed system)

Must know

• Acceleration = change in velocity ÷ time (m/s²)
• Weight (W) = mass (m) × gravitational field strength (g); W = mg
• g ≈ 10 N/kg on Earth's surface
• Friction: force opposing motion; depends on surface roughness and normal force
• Distance-time graph: gradient = speed; velocity-time graph: gradient = acceleration; area = distance
