What must I remember about Diodes, Transistors and Simple Circuits?

• Logic gates process binary signals (0 = low voltage, 1 = high voltage)
• AND gate: output HIGH only when ALL inputs HIGH
• OR gate: output HIGH when AT LEAST ONE input is HIGH
• NOT gate (inverter): output is always opposite of input
• Transistor: semiconductor switch; small base current controls large collector current
